For patients with insurance coverage, estimated patient portions are due at the time of the visit. We gladly accept assignment of benefits (for most insurance carriers) and we will assist you by filing claim forms on your behalf. We will work with you to ensure that you receive the maximum insurance benefits to which you are entitled. Many people do not realize that most dental policies cover routine exams, x-rays, and cleanings at 100%, twice a year, for all individuals covered. Financial arrangements will be coordinated with your dental insurance benefits whenever possible to reduce your out-of-pocket expense for the quality dental care you will receive. Please bring insurance information when you visit the office.
Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but not all of the cost of your dental care. Most plans include coinsurance provisions, a deductible, and certain other expenses that must be paid by the patient at the time of services. Reimbursement amounts are not, and never have been, a guideline for quality care. We are here to try to help you understand your policy. Ultimately, it is the patient’s responsibility to read policies and be aware of services covered or not covered by the individual plan. Please remember that patients, not their insurance companies are financially responsible for services rendered.
WARNING! Limiting your dental treatment to the benefits of your plan may be hazardous to your dental and overall health!
